Connecting Minds Gets Behind Improving Your Resource Efficiency
If you are a small business based in the Thames Gateway South Essex region then you might be eligible for support for your projects aimed at improving energy efficiency. Aimed at companies with less than 250 employees, the Improving Your Resource Efficiency project delivered by Low Carbon Business designed to run for three years until 2013, will address the issue of identifying cost and carbon savings available from improved energy efficiency, covering water and material savings as well as green business plans generally.
Cash support will be available in the form of match funded grants for suitable projects, covering both capital and revenue actions for the SME.
One way of improving energy efficiency is to invest in Connecting Minds 'green' technology solutions. Using Connecting Minds sustainable technology, you can cut your IT hardware costs and maintenance time by 75%. At the same time you can reduce your IT electricity bill by 90%!
Recognising this, the Improving Your Resource Efficiency programme has selected Connecting Minds, specialists in virtual desktop computing and multi-computing technologies, as a recognised supplier to organisations taking advantage of the grants.
Fiaz Sadiq, Managing Director of Connecting Minds said: “We're delighted to be partnering with this project. There are enormous efficiency and financial gains that can be achieved simply by using sustainable technologies. We're looking forward to working with the Improving Your Resource Efficiency Programme over the coming months."
The programme is supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and operates in partnership with the five Local Authorities in the region, Basildon, Castle Point, Rochford, Southend and Thurrock as well as NISP and Essex County Council.
Improving Your Resource Efficiency product is part of Solutions for Business, the Government’s package of publicly funded business support designed to help companies start and grow.
